Chuck Fashion: Sarah’s Lingerie

26/04/2011 19:15

In honor of tonight’s rerun of “Chuck vs. the Honeymooners”, and because we’ve had several requests for brand information, this week’s Chuck fashion column is all about lingerie. Fortunately, Sarah is the character who wears these costumes the most, so I don’t have to subject you to, say, images of Jeff in a negligee.

"Surprise."

In “Chuck vs. the Masquerade”, Sarah surprises Chuck with an “angelic” look for Valentine’s Day, only to be interrupted by Casey with a new mission. Sarah’s red chemise is the “Bolero” from Jonquil’s “In Bloom” line. (Angel wings sold separately.) Robin Lewis-West picked it up at Nordstrom’s in Los Angeles, but it’s available online from Bloomingdale’s.

"What are y'all doin' in my room?"

Sarah’s intimates from the train trip through Europe in “Chuck vs. the Honeymooners” were from Betsey Johnson but sadly none of these specific designs are available now, more than a year after filming that episode. If you want a similar look, option 1 is a black tie-front camisole with pink lace trim, pink panties, and a black short robe. Ability to fake a Texas accent not included. Option 2 is a nude (or peach) chemise with black lace trim.

A tip from Robin if you’re in the Los Angeles area: Risque in Pasadena is her preferred place to find lingerie. They don’t have a website, but the reviews on Yelp and Citysearch are terrific.
